SYNTHMORPHIX is a series of digital illustrations created using a method I call P2P (Prompt-to-Paint) Jamming — an iterative and improvisational collaboration between AI and artist.

While AI systems like DALL-E and MidJourney are capable of generating impressive images from a single prompt, my approach goes beyond these initial outputs. Through hundreds of additional prompts and continuous refinement, I curate, correct, and elevate the work in Photoshop — overcoming common issues like low resolution and visual defects, while shaping the piece toward specific visual and conceptual goals.

The process often echoes traditional painting. For instance, when creating portraits in my SYNTHPRISM series, I begin with a digital sketch or a photograph to block in facial features, and then progressively construct the body, background, and other elements layer by layer. It is not uncommon for a single artwork to take several weeks to complete.

I refer to this approach as “jamming” because, much like musicians improvising a composition, I experiment with multiple AI-generated outputs. I treat these as raw material, selectively developing them into fully realized works of art.

By blending synthetic and human creativity, SYNTHMORPHIX invites curiosity and dialogue about the evolving relationship between technology and art — positioning AI not as a replacement, but as a creative partner.
