Dinorah Delfin’s Wagner x Wagner: A Synthmorphik Doppelgänger — Variation 1 has been acquired by the Rothschild Collection in Berlin, Germany, as a limited-edition print. Part of Delfin’s experimental Synthmorphik Doppelgänger Variations, the work reimagines the figure of the iconic composer Richard Wagner through AI-driven synthesis, merging 19th-century portraiture with contemporary generative aesthetics.

 

The piece embodies Delfin’s continued investigation into posthuman identity — here manifested as the self confronting its synthetic clone — while navigating the dynamic relationship between classical iconography and AI-generated imagery.
