Dinorah Delfin
BIOGRAPHY
Originally from Venezuela and based between Florida and New York, Dinorah Delfin is a multidisciplinary conceptual artist and futurist exploring the intersection of identity, human evolution, and emerging technologies. Working across large-scale digital imagery, AI-generated art, traditional media, and activism, she uses art as a vehicle to question, reimagine, and elevate human agency in the face of rapid biodigital transformation.
Her visual language—Synthmorphik Realism—weaves classical aesthetics, surrealist composition, and AI-driven processes to create symbolic narratives about consciousness, self-transcendence, and technological convergence. Her ongoing series, SYNTHMORPHIX, explores speculative visions of human-machine evolution, blending organic and artificial elements into emotionally charged, photorealistic works.
Delfin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship Management (cum laude) from Baruch College. Her debut solo exhibition in 2009—curated by Elga Wimmer and dedicated to her mentor Chuck Close—introduced her Pixelated Hybrid Paintings, a technique she developed in 2008 to symbolize a speculative future where the digital merges physically with human biology. The exhibition also featured HOLY, a series of self-portraits conceived in 2009 and later praised by art critic Jerry Saltz as “unique,” exploring themes of self-transcendence and psychological transformation.
She is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Immortalists Magazine, a platform focused on the future of science, technology, and human potential, and founder of ArtDimensional Studio, which produces experimental and custom artworks. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is included in private collections such as those of Denzel Washington, Lionel Richie, and Chuck Close.
A regular speaker on ethical futurism and transformative art, Delfin has presented at events including the NYU Posthuman Summit, the International Conference of Technoscientific Awareness, and the Unicorn Summit in Portugal. She is affiliated with institutions such as the Lifeboat Foundation, NeuroRights Foundation, Foresight Institute, and The Global Posthuman Network.
