Art Collector Fabien Bitan Acquires Dinorah Delfin's Iconic Portrait of Chuck Close
In 2010, Dinorah Delfin held her first solo exhibition at Elga Wimmer's Gallery in Chelsea, Manhattan, where she paid tribute to her then-mentor, the renowned artist Chuck Close. The exhibition featured Delfin's iconic digital collages from her Holy series, oil-painted interpretations of these works, and a standout Hybrid 3D Pixel portrait of Chuck Close.
The enigmatic portrait immediately caught the attention of prominent art collector Fabien Bitan, who acquired the piece for his private collection in New York.
"It was an incredible honor to have Fabien Bitan recognize and acquire my portrait of Chuck Close . . . Knowing that this tribute to my mentor is in such a distinguished collection means the world to me." - Delfin
